The Chartered Institute of Audit Governance Oversight and Leadership (CIAGOL) is a voluntary membership organisation for practitioners registered not for gain. CIAGOL provides continuing professional development services, funds academic research, develops thought leadership, maintains a code of ethics for its members and monitors professional standards.
CIAGOL SA is the only professional body in Southern Africa, that has developed standards of practice for public sector performance management (service delivery) for the public sector. The standards are in the process of being published will be available online in the second quarter) of 2020.
The Institute's Professional Development, Capacity Building initiatives for practitioners are offered through the Academy of Audit Governance, Oversight and Leadership (AAGOL) SA.
